FM World Charities ambition is to increase awareness of common, treatable illnesses throughout the world. FM is revolutionary in establishing effective and professional systems by which medical care and information can be provided to the world’s population.
Founder and CEO of FM World Charities Eric M. Gast is no stranger to the film and record world. His career spanning over eighteen years amassed impressive credits in genres as diverse as rock, hip-hop, jazz, gospel, and world music. It is his passion for his vision and his success as a respected and versatile producer, mixer, and audio engineer that give FM World Charities a heart and soul of its own.
Many medical conditions are preventable or easily treated if diagnosed early. One type of screenings that can be easily and effectively carried out is the screening for potential skin cancers, this is why in 2008 FM World Charities went on the Vans Warped Tour, screening 6500 youth for skin cancer and handing out 10,000 UV protective products and skin cancer awareness literature to the audience, 700 of the youth screened needed professional follow ups. By testing glucose, blood pressure levels, cholesterol, and many other measures it is possible to diagnose and treat problems in their early stages before it becomes symptomatic and life threatening.

FM World Charities goal is to establish functional and effective mobile medical clinics that can easily be moved from one location to another in the countries in which they work. Helping to screen people that may or may not necessarily be able to attend one of their events or gain the appropriate medical treatment that they need. It is also FM World Charities goal to establish medical clinics in underserved areas of the world with the ultimate goal of establishing a system by which healthcare providers may rotate between different locations.
Through education and implementation FM World Charities seeks to make a difference.
FM is proudly associated with Reconstruct Art (www.reconstructart.org), a charity founded by Lawrence Joyner in Rego Park, New York. Reconstruct Art is dedicated to positively motivating disenfranchised youth and to help cultivate their artistic strengths.
